Two-Storey Homes
This installation technique involves mounting the internal unit on the second storey’s external wall while the external unit is mounted outside at ground level or on a sturdy wall bracket.
Refrigeration pipes interconnect the indoor and outdoor units; these pipes will vary in length and placement to ensure the best possible outcome.
Units & Apartments
This type of installation is frequently delicate—units and apartments can create different types of challenges. On the one hand, there may be restricted options as to where and how the units can be fitted. On the other, high-rise locations may require specialised height and rigging equipment to fit your split system safely.
Please note that once we have formalised a quote you are responsible for obtaining the body corporate’s approval before we are able to install the unit.
High-Rise Buildings
This installation technique is common in high-rise living especially in Melbourne CBD. It is different from any other installation as the external unit is mounted on an unprotected ledge.
High-rise dwellings require specialised safety precautions, equipment, and the implementation of adequate measures for working at heights. Our technicians are professionally qualified for ‘Working at Height’ and have extensive experience in this type of settings.
Please note that once we have formalised a quote you are responsible for obtaining the body corporate’s approval before we are able to install the unit.
Installations Using Internal Walls
This type of technique is tricky and involved. It requires the internal unit to be fitted on an internal wall—one that does not directly connect to the outdoors. The refrigeration pipes are then fitted through the ceiling cavity, over the rooms of the house, to where the external unit is mounted outdoors.
